**Primark Names U.S. VP and Head of Penneys in Ireland**
**London – December 15, 2023** – Primark, the international value-led fashion retailer, has announced the appointment of two key executives to its U.S. and Ireland operations.
**U.S. Vice President**
Primark has appointed Maria Rugolo as the Vice President of its U.S. business, effective January 1, 2024. In this role, Rugolo will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Primark’s operations in the United States, including store development, merchandising, marketing, and customer service.
Rugolo joins Primark from H&M, where she held the position of Vice President of U.S. Operations. She brings over 20 years of experience in the retail industry, with a proven track record of success in leading large-scale retail operations.
**Head of Penneys in Ireland**
Primark has also named Damien O’Neill as the Head of Penneys in Ireland, responsible for leading the retailer’s operations in its home market. O’Neill will be responsible for driving growth and profitability, as well as enhancing the customer experience across Penneys’ 37 stores in Ireland.
O’Neill has been with Primark for over 15 years, most recently serving as the Retail Director for the UK and Ireland. He has a deep understanding of the Irish retail market and a strong track record of delivering exceptional results.
